THE STORY OF ♥ Swiedebie ... is about loving, ... cherishing, ... growing, ... and creating our inner-child within us. Hello!!! My name is Swee. I am the creative 'master-mind' behind Swiedebie. I am a Singaporean now residing in The Netherlands with my husband and daughter. Life in Europe is different from the fast-paced city-life in tropical sunny-island - Singapore. Besides being a mom, I am a certified and experienced fashion designer for nearly 10 years. Swiedebie started 3 years ago in The Netherlands, which I began with felt accessories and sock monsters. Then on, I moved on to a new scope of creating handmade accessories like purses, bags, scarves, hats, etc. Besides selling in The Netherlands, Swiedebie has launched some of the unique items for sale in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and soon to be in Greece. I gather my inspiration from a variety of ideas from everyday life. My great love for colors have given away my inner-child in me, which is a significant signature in all my loud and funny creations. Being a perfectionist at heart, each piece is tastefully matched with various forms of fabrics and coupled with multicolored-combination and quality workmanship. I love working meticulously on my detailed plans on every product development - which begins from brainstorming, mood-boards, fabric sourcing, designing, costing and till the very last in making, packaging, marketing and selling. ........................................................................................................................................................ WHY Swiedebie does it: Swiedebie believes in the joy of every little things, and is passionate about the designs in every character and product. It speaks out thesignature Swiedebie style: funny, fresh, colorful, comfort and functionality, with an undertone of optimism and self-perspective. Even the simple pieces are given the most special appearances, because I believe in bringing good twist of fun & humor along with meticulous workmanship! Even before the word 'brand' emerged from Swiedebie, the handmade creatures have made themselves known to be Swiedebie - 100% Swiedebie. One thing you always see it again: 100% OOAK quirky products. It's in the genes of Swiedebie - from the tiny studio space to online shop, craft fairs to retail boutiques. In everything I do, think and want, I believe in bringing every piece of my work with a big smile to you. Swiedebie's goal in the next coming years is to be able to showcase all her crazy kooky creations in numerous shops and stores worldwide. With the world in such turmoil and chaos, I believe that there is definite hope for joy and peace. I want to share my quirky works with everyone around the world, hoping to bring lots of laughter and smiles every day.
